Windows of Hope is dedicated to family and some very close friends who are currently fighting the battle of cancer and Elsa who has been clear of cancer for 5 years. Our prayer for them that God will give them healing but above all peace in knowing Him.

It is our honor to recognize

Who Are We

Keeping families in touch during separation
due to serious illness through Video/Voice connection.

I have been in business for 35 years.

From 1983-1988 I took a business sabbatical and moved to the Philippines with my wife Rina and our small children where we worked as community developers. The focus of our work was primarily health care and income generation for families with malnourished children. In 1988 we returned to our home and business in Prince George.

In 1989 I began doing volunteer work assisting families in crisis.

During this time I became aware that there was and still is a need for more supportive services for those who have been victimized, therefore, in May 2000 I created the Doors of Hope website Doors of Hope is a community based website and provides online support information for victims of crime, abuse, domestic violence, and sudden death.

For more detailed information on child abuse please see

Loriann and I first met while working together in crisis intervention.  Loriann has a background in Social Work and has also been working for the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance formerly known as the Ministry of Human Resources for over six years. This project is very close to her heart as her sister Tammy has been diagnosis with Cancer. Loriann currently resides in Westbank BC near Kelowna.
